I have been taking some online classes for floral design. But i need some more hands on classes.Does anyone know of any classes or schools in Ohio or Michigan..I did my own flowers at my wedding and people loved them..so i know i have the talent.........to all the floral designers out there ...help, what do i need to do .I need some advice on how to get started.

I recommend going to some floral shops and asking if they are in need of an apprentice or assistant. That is the best way to get your foot in the door! Also, network and let all of your friends and family know that you are willing to do parties for them and eventually you will get clientele built up that way.

Reply:Check out the bookstores for books or magazines on floral designs. Also, know the types of flowers per season so you'll know what to use during each season. Good luck.
