Do you have to take a floral design class if you do floral designing from home?

not necessarily, but, you better be good at your game ! If you have a natural talent, sometimes, that's better than all the classes ! (classes would be a good idea though, to keep you on top )

Do you have to take a floral design class if you do floral designing from home?
I dont know about where you live, but the bookstore where I am has some great great great books on the subject - so I'm guessing your library might. If not, just browse the bookstore a few afternoons and consider it your lesson time ;)

Look at floral designs you see in magazines like House and Garden, Architextural digest, Martha Stewart, etc. They have great ideas toooo

Never be afraid to mix unexpected things.

Good Luck
Reply:You don't have to take a class, you can be creative with your own flowers. Also if you buy flowers at the store or plastic flowers along with a nice vase, you could do a beautiful design with it being creative.
Reply:If you want to do this from home, you must have a natural talent for it...no? I don't know where you live, but I'm sure that you don't need any special training to be a creative floral designer. I would look around at floral arrangements that are displayed on tables at weddings or browse through a floral shop or even look at the silk floral arrangements you see in arts and crafts shops like Michael's or the Rag Shop. Just pick up ideas and then apply them to your own work. You will do just fine. Good luck with your floral design business.
