What kind of vase do you use when you are trying to make a round floral bouqet?

I want to make one for my Mother's Birthday, any advise would be great!!!!!

What kind of vase do you use when you are trying to make a round floral bouqet?
I would use the kind with roundish on the bottom and skinny towards the opening of the vase. I think it's easier to keep the flowers stand straight and make a round shape bouquet without too many flowers. A wide opening one needs lots of flowers to fill it.
Reply:I like a cylinder shape ( round, straight up and down ).

Fill the vase with tepid water.

Take Scotch tape and make a grid pattern across the opening at the top of the vase with the tape. This forms a support for your stems and the tape is clear so it doesn't show up among the plants. Now, take your flowers and measure them against the vase. Trim the stems where they will fit comfortably in the vase. Be sure no leaves are below the water level ( trim them if they are ) in order to keep the water as clean as possible. Add some filler like Baby's Breath and/or greens, like fern and you're done :)
Reply:One with a wide opening...otherwise the flowers will stand straight up.

Bad Breath
