What color curtains go with burgandy floral carpet and pale yellow walls.?
i would use dark beige or light tan or light earth tone for the curtains. you can pick the predominant shade of a light earth tone from your floral carpet and match the fabric.
Reply:I would look carefully at the floral carpet, pick a predominant colour from it (other than pale yellow) and try to get window coverings to go with that colour. Pick one you like (from the carpet) as opposed to "the most predominant" one (unless of course, you like the most predominant one!) Good way to check for "dominance of colour" is to view it while squinting your eyes... check it out, good luck!
Reply:Since the carpet is floral, take another color from the carpet. Pale yellow is an easy color to work with, just about any color will blend nicely with it, ex: blue, green, burgandy.
Reply:Oooh--sounds scary! Try to go as neutral as possible with that color scheme. Try matching your curtains to furniture. If you have white furniture, try white curtains. Maple furniture, beige curtains, etc. That should make a great statement. If your furniture is mismatched, spray paint them a solid color and sand the edges a bit to give them that aged-distressed look. I did that with thrift store furniture in black, and it looks like they came out of Pottery Barn. When I feel really dramatic, I put black curtains, but usually I use an accent color from a fabric I am using at the time. Look at a great piece you love, use a color from that, and who knows? It may turn out really cool. Make sure you have other items in the same accent color, so its not too crazy in there.

Hope this helps!
Reply:NOT PINK! EW! Try a sheer with a more solid edge with a heavy carpet-use one of the other colors or maybe an off white or white or the burgandy if it is a sheer. Depends on the other colors and whats on your bed-try HGTV.com. They have a section where you can try out colors, patterns and such in a virtual room to check things out.
Reply:A very pale pink.
Reply:Depends how bold you want to be.

I've seen floral and plaid together.

Chose a color from your carper that isn't dominate and use that to tie your room together. Even getting the same color as your new curtains for your bedding.

Good Luck.
