Any ideas on creating a floral centerpiece in the shape of a ladybug?

Red carnations...lots of them, bunched into floral foam, you can cut the stems to varying lengths to give a rounded appearance in the foam.

Then stud throughout with yellow daisies or carnations.

Or, reverse the colors.

The point is, use a flower that "clumps together" well.

Just tell your florist, they can do it. It will probably be made of red and white carnations, maybe some spray-painted black. But they can do it, no problem.
Reply:Personally, I don't know how to do it. But I strongly suggest that you go to www.foodnetwork.com and type in Ladybug Cake in the search engine and they will show you how to make the centerpiece.

I saw the recipe on the website. I doubt that you will be disappointed.
Reply:ave not tried doing it sorry
