When are floral pattern heels appropriate?

My mom gave me these really cute floral pattern heels for my birthday. They are predominately white with a bit of red trim, and patent leather. I would not normally venture into anything beyond solids and the occasional animal print so I am not even sure when to wear these.

You can wear them with shorts or capris (jean or white) and a cute top that's accented in red (or a solid red). Or you can wear them with jeans or white pants with a red shirt (or accented red shirt). Think about a red skirt with a white top or white top with a red skirt, etc.

Reply:Wear them if they fit the outfit. For example, I have white/red floral heels so I wear them with a simple black skirt, and a red v-neck t-shirt over a white lacey cami.
Reply:My general rule with florals are -- if it's blooming outside, it's fine to wear. If not, save it for later.
Reply:with a plain white ( or a color from the pattern on the shoes) dress out to dinner with mom or with a denim skirt out to the mall to boy watch with your friends. Maybe save the white dress and those shoes to a church function.
Reply:You should wear them in the springtime, like NOW!, and you should only wear them with a solid dress or else the pattern will clash!
