The tie goes perfectly with a white shirt, but none of my others. Any ideas? I normally wear a charcoal suit.
What colour shirt should I buy to go with a yellow and gold floral tie?
It has got to be a white shirt with a stiff collar so none of the tie shows under it. White will best show the tie color, and at the same time nicely compliment your charcoal suit. You might get away with a gray shirt, but I doubt it. Any other color would look garishly silly. No! Stick with white. You will not regret it.
