How much do florists charge for floral cone pew markers?

What can I expect to pay for these?

How much do florists charge for floral cone pew markers?
they are not hard to make.....go to walmart, get some 12x12 cardstock from the scrapbook isle, some double sided tape, and one of those foam cones in the floral section, and all the flowers you want in each cone, and then some ribbon.

Take the floral foam cone, and wrap the paper around it to form the cone. On the top point of the cone, punch 2 holes in it, and run the rubbin through it, and then leave a lot of ribbon (about 1 foot), and then tie the ends together and use it to hang on the pew end. then, arrange the flowers in the foam as desired.
Reply:Nothing? You really don't need them. If you want anything, just go for simple bows.
Reply:around here about 10.00 and up each. depending on what you want on them
Reply:Depends on the flowers you want in them roses cost more than carnations.

Can I wear a large floral print dress with solid jacket on 9/10/06 to a bridal shower?

the background is emerald green, medium to large size pink and ivory flowers and a solid short sleeve emerald green jacket with ivory buttons.; fabric is cotton and polyester. 9/10/06 is the weekend after labor day; it is at 1:00 p.m. private room at a restaurant.

Can I wear a large floral print dress with solid jacket on 9/10/06 to a bridal shower?
large and floral says it all...hell no !!
Reply:Pull your hair back in a ponytail, make sure that your makeup is on point, leave the jacket at home, match your heels with your clutch which should be large and if the dress can take it; try a wide belt in the same colour as the shoes and clutch and you will be set. Have a great time.
Reply:yes.
Reply:The dress probably would look better without the jacket.
Reply:Sounds like you don't get out much..................wear only natural fabrics, silk, cotton, wool. Leave the big flower prints and polyester to those who regularly hear "attention K-mart shoppers" But it sounds like you already have made up your mind on what to wear and just want approval.

It really makes no difference what you wear but if you care:

Wear solid colors, beige, cream, black, gray.

Make sure your hair and make-up are perfect. Your make up should be natural looking. Buy a VOGUE or W magazine and take a look.

Wear gold or platinum jewelry. Leather shoes and leather bag.
Reply:i think it is great for the occasion. have fun, give my congrats
Reply:Sounds really cute, just make sure the shoes match.

Get yourself some portfolio in, with the designs that you had done. And get a website up, so ppl can see your work. And printing costs lots money, this way you save some money. But do get a pretty business card, even spend some money in design fee. And the booklet to introduce yourself (something interesting, maybe like a vase with your information on it).

Then you can contact places like hotels who held weddings, funeral home, restaurants (who display flowers), furniture stores (you can share profit with you).... of course, the angel network (friends and family). Offices who needs some arrangement for front desk..... keep your eyes open and introduce yourself.
Reply:Print up business cards and attatch them to a carnation with a ribbon and pass them out.
Reply:Use direct mailing campaign and give coupons for your service. If its a small town, make an event out of your grand opening. petition existing business for contracts.
Reply:Hey-

I do floral design too. I've had a problem with getting started also. If you come up with any good idea e-mail me rndonnelly@yahoo.com. Do you do silks or live, both?
Reply:Targeted prospects will swarm your site 24/7! Just 5 minutes to set-up, it's automated, "viral" and proven - and best of all it's FREE!
Reply:Refer
Reply:You can stop by all the hospitals and funeral homes and ask to display your business cards. You can visit offices, hotels, and business other businesses to introduce yourself and hand them a brochure and business cards.

Also remember, you have to find away to be different than all the other flower shops in your town. Otherwise, why should they chose you over their current provider.
