A black-based, ochre and brown floral dress and Morrissey suit jacket to an accounting firm job offer congratulatory lunch?
Can I wear a floral dress and black jacket to a 'business casual' lunch?
As long as the jacket fits you well and does not go past the middle of your bottom or have shoulder pads like the eighties it sounds good. I personally would try a cropped cardigan instead but it should do. Just make sure your hair is good too.
Reply:as long as the accesories don't scream "hey i am going casual today"
Reply:Sounds good to me! Summery but smart :)
Reply:sure! black is not a color... compliments everything!
Reply:yea im sure u can it would look cute
Reply:Sounds good to me!
Reply:Im a guy, and I dont know what a morrissey suit jacket looks like, but if your going with a dress like that, I saw a women in New Orleans with a similar sounding dress and a shaw. And Let Me Tell You !
The jacket may hide you. The shaw may Pride you.
She looked way Sharp ! Lots of class !
Either way, Im sure you ' ll be beautiful !
Reply:yes it would look good / good luck and enjoy your meal
Reply:But of course you can, FREAKSHOW!
Reply:Sounds like it will work just perfect for you .
Reply:I don't think so...
Reply:I love how a woman could pull this off...but a guy in a nice sports jacket with a Smiths shirt or Morrissey shirt underneath regardless of age..would never work..
Reply:If thats your style girl flaunt it!
Reply:As long as it's a subtle print. You don't want anything too frilly, poufy, or dramatic. It sounds pretty though.
Reply:I would.
Reply:well it looks like its a bit 2 late eh? but yes it sounds nice enough - i love the sound of the 'black jacket' though :D
Reply:yes
Reply:I would say yes. The black jacket will tame down the dress and the dress will show you have personality. Good choice.
Reply:I'm sure you already have, but just make sure the hem isn't very far above your knee, and that the jacket has a little structure (to make it a little more professional).

Help me find red and yellow stripe of large floral kitchen valences?
I need red, yellow and possible other color floral, stripe or geometric kitchen valences.
Help me find red and yellow stripe of large floral kitchen valences?
If you are handy with a needle, Try JoAnn Fabrics or Hancock Fabrics, they have both stock items and special order. I know JoAnn has it. You will get the exact design that you want this way. If you aren't then you could purchase cloth napkins and hang them diagnal across the curatin rod. If you want embelishments you could put the corners through napkin rings and hang rings on the rod. This would form the valance.
Reply:valances are really easy to make. It's just a matter of using enough material to get a nice shirr on the rod and heming it on both ends and creating the pocket for the rod.
You can also adapt pillowcases to become valances

What color curtains go with burgandy floral carpet and pale yellow walls.?
This is for a bedroom
What color curtains go with burgandy floral carpet and pale yellow walls.?
i would use dark beige or light tan or light earth tone for the curtains. you can pick the predominant shade of a light earth tone from your floral carpet and match the fabric.
Reply:I would look carefully at the floral carpet, pick a predominant colour from it (other than pale yellow) and try to get window coverings to go with that colour. Pick one you like (from the carpet) as opposed to "the most predominant" one (unless of course, you like the most predominant one!) Good way to check for "dominance of colour" is to view it while squinting your eyes... check it out, good luck!
Reply:Since the carpet is floral, take another color from the carpet. Pale yellow is an easy color to work with, just about any color will blend nicely with it, ex: blue, green, burgandy.
Reply:Oooh--sounds scary! Try to go as neutral as possible with that color scheme. Try matching your curtains to furniture. If you have white furniture, try white curtains. Maple furniture, beige curtains, etc. That should make a great statement. If your furniture is mismatched, spray paint them a solid color and sand the edges a bit to give them that aged-distressed look. I did that with thrift store furniture in black, and it looks like they came out of Pottery Barn. When I feel really dramatic, I put black curtains, but usually I use an accent color from a fabric I am using at the time. Look at a great piece you love, use a color from that, and who knows? It may turn out really cool. Make sure you have other items in the same accent color, so its not too crazy in there.
Hope this helps!
Reply:NOT PINK! EW! Try a sheer with a more solid edge with a heavy carpet-use one of the other colors or maybe an off white or white or the burgandy if it is a sheer. Depends on the other colors and whats on your bed-try HGTV.com. They have a section where you can try out colors, patterns and such in a virtual room to check things out.
Reply:A very pale pink.
Reply:Depends how bold you want to be.
I've seen floral and plaid together.
Chose a color from your carper that isn't dominate and use that to tie your room together. Even getting the same color as your new curtains for your bedding.
Good Luck.
